The GT is a road car from Ford, with rear wheel drive, a mid mounted engine and a 2 door coupé body style.
Its engine is a supercharged petrol, 5.4 litre, double overhead camshaft 90 degree V8 cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder. In this application it has an output of 550 bhp (558 PS/410 kW) of power at 6500 rpm, and maximum torque of 678 N·m (500 lb·ft/69.1 kgm) at 4000 rpm.
This power is supplied to the wheels through a 6 speed manual gearbox.
