A motorcycle circuit which had two variants. The first was used from 1950-1952. It was 7.150 km long around the town of Battenberg, and hosted the Rund um Battenberg race. The circuit was abandoned after an accident in 1952 which cost the lives of two people.
The second variant was a 12.530 km circuit which was used from 1953-1956, and went through the villages of Laisa, Holzhausen, Hatzfeld and Eifa along Federal route 253. This second variant was abandoned after a double fatality during a motorcycle race in 1956.
