Manthey-Racing is thus launching a further performance kit for GT models of the Porsche brand, which incorporates technology and all the know-how from motorsport. Made for the racetrack: Extensive tests and numerous laps on different race tracks were carried out during development to ensure the best possible performance of Manthey-Racing products for road vehicles.
“With the latest MR model we are once again expanding our product range for the GT vehicles of the Porsche brand. The performance kit is based on the modifications of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR, which among other things is the fastest road-legal sports car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife," says Nicolas Raeder, Managing Director of Manthey-Racing GmbH.
The modifications for the sports car include an aerodynamics package as well as elements such as a coilover suspension, a brakes upgrade and an optional magnesium wheel set.
The MR Performance Kit for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (991.2) consists of:

On Friday 23 April 2021, the 383 kW (520 hp) Porsche 911 GT3 RS MR from the 991.2 generation lapped the 20.832-kilometre-long Nordschleife in the presence of a notary in 6:54.340 minutes. The measured time for the 20.6-kilometre-long lap without the T13 track section, which is the lap length primarily used in the past, was 6:49.656 minutes. The Porsche works driver Kévin Estre was behind the wheel of the road-legal sports car.
