The Pininfarina New Stratos is a sports coupe, a re-edition of the Lancia Stratos, based on a Ferrari F430.
The car, initially created in 2010 as a one-off made by Pininfarina, was produced in a limited edition by Manifattura Automobili Torino in 2018.
The New Stratos is equipped with a 4.3 V8 Ferrari engine with a specific exhaust system, new manifolds, catalyst and a variant of the six-speed robotic gearbox of the original car, capable of shifting gear in less than 60 milliseconds. Its (unofficial) performance would declare an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 274 km / h, due to the shorter gear ratios compared to the F430. The dimensions are 418 cm long by 197 cm wide and 126 cm high.
Manifattura Automobili Torino has made itself available to support, on behalf of its company, a limited series production of the model "estimated at 25 units", which began after a new debut of the car at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
